Cress Creek Garden Club won sixteen Garden Clubs of Illinois awards on April 27, 2025. This includes Garden club of the Year Award for large clubs. Watch this video on our fantastic accomplishments.



During National Garden week, June 1-7, members of CCGC at Naperville Farmers Market promoted our club and offered free seeds!
City of Naperville Proclamation

May 20, 2025 at the city council meeting
Naperville Mayor Scott Wehrli announced a proclamation for Cress Creek Garden Club's outstanding work on community gardens and volunteer. He also honored Cress Creek Garden Club's 50 year anniversary for 2025.

Fundraisers



The Cress Creek Garden Club of Naperville, Inc. was founded in 1975 by a group of neighbors and has grown to include members from Naperville and many nearby communities.
Mission
Our purpose is to;
-
encourage the beautification and general improvement of Naperville and the surrounding communities,
-
to stimulate gardening and artistic interest,
-
to develop horticultural knowledge,
-
to support conservation,
-
to provide scholarships for students,
-
and to support local charities.
Vision
The club is organized and operated exclusively for purposes to be beneficial, charitable, educational and useful to the community within the meaning of Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
