The “How To” of Attracting Birds to our Yards
Location: Arrowhead Golf Club​
Since 1990, David Brooks of the Spring Valley Nature Center has worked as a professional naturalist and speaker across Chicago. He will discuss ways of attracting a variety of birds using properly maintained feeding stations and food planting. He'll cover common local birds and spring/fall migrants in his guide.

Program Committee offers member garden walks, visits to various garden centers and bus trips to many gardens within a few hours drive.

Fundraisers


Spring Fundraiser
The Spring Fundraiser is a Plant Sale in May. Pre-orders Taken in February/March.
Fall Fundraiser
The Club's Fall Fundraiser is held in November. It helps fund the scholarship program, donations to non-profit organizations in the area, and plantings at community gardens.

Scholarships
High School Seniors and college attendees can apply for scholarships based on merit and their commitment to an area of study that aligns with our club mission.

The Cress Creek Garden Club of Naperville, Inc. was founded in 1975 by a group of neighbors and has grown to include members from Naperville and many nearby communities.
Mission
Our purpose is to;

encourage the beautification and general improvement of Naperville and the surrounding communities,

to stimulate gardening and artistic interest,

to develop horticultural knowledge,

to support conservation,
-
to provide scholarships for students,

and to support local charities.
Vision
The club is organized and operated exclusively for purposes to be beneficial, charitable, educational and useful to the community within the meaning of Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
